Claudia Giudici

ClaudiaPsychologist Claudia Giudici is a significant figure in the city of Reggio Emilia’s education system who was recently appointed by the Regional Government of Emilia Romagna as the regional advocator for children and adolescents. She is also a member of the National Inter-ministry Peer Group for the provision of educational services for children aged 2-3 years. Prior to this she was President of Reggio Children for five years after having been President of the Istituzione of Preschools and Infant-toddler Centres of the Municipality of Reggio Emilia from 2009 to 2016.

She has worked as pedagogical co-ordinator of the municipal infant-toddler centres and preschools, and as psycho-pedagogical co-ordinator of Reggio Emilia’s municipal Centre for Documentation and Educational Research of Infant toddler Centres and Preschools.

In her work at Reggio Children Claudia has been responsible for several research projects on the design of educational spaces and areas of teaching practice. She has also been responsible for professional development projects and consulted in the psycho-pedagogy and educational services.

Claudia has co-ordinated research projects like the project on family participation with the University of New Hampshire (USA) and Bicocca University of Milan, and research on the theme of individual and  Group learning and pedagogical evaluation with Harvard University-Project Zero. She also co-ordinated the research group in Reggio Emilia for the project titled CARE – Curriculum and Quality Analysis and Impact Review of European Early Childhood Education and Care.

She is the author of many articles, and curator and editor of exhibitions and publications realised by Reggio Children.

Cristian Fabbi

cf3Cristian Fabbi is President of Reggio Children. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and is a professionally trained Relational Psychotherapist.
He started his working experience in the Documentation and Research Center of the Reggio Emilia preschools. He worked in the Early Childhood Care and Education Unit at the International Bureau of Education (IBE) of UNESCO, developing programmes and initiatives to improve quality early education in Africa and Asia. He also worked on Child-Friendly cities on behalf of UNICEF, developing the Albanian framework.
He is currently working on Early Childhood matters on behalf of UN agencies and INGOs in different countries, focusing on the quality framework.

Daniela Lanzi

LANZI DANIELA FOTODaniela Lanzi is a pedagogista who is responsible for the Complex Organisation Unit of the Istituzione of Preschools and Infant-toddler Centres of Reggio Emilia Municipality. She is also the pedagogista for the “Nilde Iotti” municipal preschool and the Agorà Parents’ Association.

In addition to this, in her work for Reggio Children, Daniela collaborates on projects involving publishing, exhibitions, and professional learning, both in Italy and abroad.
